As per International Journal of Contemporary Paediatrics, in a classroom of 30 children, 5-10 children have some form of disability or face structural limitations. 27% of children with Disabilities never attend schools. 67% of children with disabilities who start schooling drop out by Grade 8.

This problem only multiplies when:

• A child does not have a teacher who is equipped to support them.
• A child does not have peers to work with them.
• A child enters a schooling system which is not ready to identify, acknowledge and support the child.
